Vocal lessons are now being offered at Mathis Music. Children from 12 years
of age through adult students are now being accepted for voice lessons by instructor, Renee Mathis. Renee is co-owner of Mathis Music. She studied
voice at Indiana University where she was a student of Roy Samuelson. While at Indiana she was a performing member of the Singing Hoosiers choral group.
Renee specializes in teaching correct vocal technique to her students and assists them in preparation for auditions. Each student has the opportunity
to perform in recitals 4 times per year. She also teaches performance skills and stage presence and inspires and encourages her students to gain self-confidence and poise through their singing.
