Ted Hayes

Ted Hayes moved to Sarasota, Florida from Charlotte, N.C. in June of 1996 to begin a new position as Manager of the Allen Organ Division for Mathis Music, Inc. Ted is also the Director of Music and Organist at First Presbyterian Church in Bradenton, Florida where he has served for over 11 years.

Ted is a career church musician who became interested in the design and installation of church organs in 1972 while living in Orlando, Florida. Since that time, Ted has personally overseen the design, installation and voicing of over 1,000 Allen organs in central Florida, North Carolina and along Florida's West Coast.

Ted's responsibility for Allen begins with you, the customer. Upon being contacted by you, he will set up an initial appointment to come to see your current facility and instrument. Many things are considered in the design and installation of a new instrument, including your budget, space requirements, installation considerations, musical needs, acoustical concerns, future plant needs and worship style(s). The next step is to take you and your organ committee to see and hear several installations that best represent your needs and space. After considering all of the needs and requirements he will then present a proposal for your new instrument.
