Last year, Seminole Presbyterian Church bought a Diane Bish Signature Series Renaissance Organ from
Mathis Music. It is a 40 stop, three manual in the cherry-on-walnut finish. This is the same finish I ordered for my Custom R311 Allen Theatre Organ for my home. I am currently the organist
and interim music director at the church. I hold a M. M. degree from S.U.N.Y. at Fredonia, New York, and have been playing for 32 years. I have always prided myself in being able to tell the
difference between pipe and non-pipe organs. But, our Allen Renaissance is incredible. It provides great support for congregational singing on both traditional hymns and praise songs. The
MIDI features offer our services extremely realistic orchestral voices. Two wonderful examples are the violin (with live bowing and vibrato) and the flute (with breath sound).

As a classical instrument, all choruses, ensembles and solo voices are here. Principal and flute choruses in both German and French styles can be found in the specification
selected by noted organist Diane Bish. Several big trumpets provide variety in postludes. A true 32' pedal stop gives great depth and bass to larger registrations.
The percussions,
including chimes, harpsichord, celesta and two zimbelsterns, add great interest especially during the Christmas season. Carillon, handbells and many other voices give freshness to our
services.
If this were a pipe organ it would have cost many times more in today's market, pricing it out of our
church's budget. We spent less than $50,000. With a new Allen in my home and a new Allen at my
church, I am truly in organ heaven. May God bless the use of these instruments for His ultimate glory and praise. Thanks to the people at Allen Organ and Mathis Music.

Joe DeNitto combined his unused dining room and great room to create an Art Deco-style music room
for his custom R-311 Renaissance Theatre Allen Organ. "It looks like a million bucks," says the happy
musician. "This instrument is as close to a pipe organ as I have ever played or heard. Allen Organ
technology takes the cake! I will indeed have many years of fabulous musical encounters with this fine organ. Everyone at Allen Organ and Mathis Music is to be congratulated." |
